Dear Nico, is a song cycle for female voice and accompanying sounds featuring text from the comments section of composer Nico Muhly’s website. In collaboration with vocalist Rose Hegele, these comments are performed as short songs that give each anonymous commenter a story. The work was premiered in 2018 at The Boston Conservatory by the members of ContraBAND.
